Imagine you are taking a vacation to Afghanistan, and you and your parents go into a bazaar. You see a bottle of ketchup for half the price of the bottle you've seen at wal-mart a week before!? Yes there are american items being sold in Afghanistan bazaars.
Zach Warren is a american who has spent years working in Afghanistan. Warren has taken tours of these bazaars, most of the items in the store were stolen off NATO trucks and from the military bases. I am confused, how do afghans steal from american military bases, this says a lot about us. These items are so lowly priced because they are stolen. This stealing of military food supply is taking away from us, our taxes are paying for the supplies and they are making profit from this. One of the main bazaars is called the Bush Bazaar named after George W. Bush, who started the campaign in 2001. This bazaar isn't the only one in Kabul, the city's central market which is the Old City Bazaar is also stocked.
You can find virtually anything you want. There are things from toilet paper to apples. "You don't have Wal-Mart style convenience stores." says Warren. There are rows of that product you are looking for or walking by.

This shows that Afghans are taking advantage of our mistakes, and they are making a profit off of our taxes, in my opinion I think there should more security guarding their food supply. What do you think about this story?
